No credible evidence supported the allegations regarding Epstein, the president and other prominent men.
Well, as your Snopes link above pointed out, they have not been able to unequivocally confirm the credibility of all Sascha Riley's claims, so I agree this needs to be tabled for the time being, which is why I had not yet posted anything about him on this forum until I saw your first post about him. I would hate to think that any leading political leaders of any party affiliation would have been closely associated with such appalling evil as he described. We do have, however, compelling evidence of Epstein's pedophilia trafficking and Trump's close association and friendship with him. I do think this is of legitimate concern and that any political and business leaders, regardless of political affiliation and ideology, no matter how prominent, proven to have participated in any way with such nefarious schemes, should be held as fully accountable as warranted under the law according to the nature and degree of such participation.
I dropped the ball when I failed to Snopes'd the claims first before posting about Riley's account. Agree on the accountability. I think the only way we'll ever know, Gunnar, is if/when Democrats take over in 2028 (?) and rebuild the DOJ only then will the case be reopened.
The fact still remains, though, even if Trump were innocent of any nefarious dealings with Epstein, there is still much more than enough justifiable criticism of Trump and his policies to lament that he was ever elected.
