The Bible says
That which is literal is not always figurative and that which figurative is not always literal. Knowing the difference is wisdom.

Another fundamental question is, why do we need the Book of Mormon? Christians go to heaven without the Book of Mormon.
One could ask why we need Chronicles, Ezekiel, and Nehemiah? The gospel is communicated without them.

If that's the case then Mormonism is of the devil and should be avoided.

The next question is, are Mormons saved?
Quantum, it would be helpful if you clarified what case you are referring to. From your post I have no idea why you think Mormonism is of the devil.

Mormonism teaches a Jesus different to the true Bible. Humans only have one chance to repent during this lifetime before death.

Also, those who names are not found in the Book of Life on judgement day are cast into the lake of fire. It says it explicitly in Revelation.

We are then punished for eternity for a finite crime? Sounds unfair.

Some Christians simply love to threaten others who refuse to accept their faith, especially those who deny it. It's how they make themselves feel superior and more chosen than everyone else.

Mormons preach Jesus. Jesus is Jesus is Jesus, right?

And you base that on what, St. Paul's stupid comment in the Bible?

Oh the narrow dogma of the Christian cult! Christians are brainwashed.

There are lots of things written in the Book of Revelation that are purely symbolic in nature, not to be taken literally. Can you tell the difference between the two?

Would you like Shulem to hold your hand and show you the way?

I've read that book many, many, many times.
