The lake of fire was created for the devil and his angels, not for mankind.

Rev 21:8 wrote:But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

I also want to add that God doesn't delight in sending people to hell.

I think our friend Quantum is pretending to speak for God and is acting as if he's a prophet and knows the mind of God.Rivendale wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2026 6:19 pmMaybe he shouldn't have made it then?Quantum1982 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2026 6:09 pmI also want to add that God doesn't delight in sending people to hell.

Ezekiel 33:11
Say unto them: ‘As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?’
Say unto them: ‘As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?’

He's talking to the Jews, Israel his chosen peoples!
What about slanted-eyed peoples in other lands? What about darkies in Africa? You know, negros?
Chapter and verse please.

Proverbs 16:4 —
“The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.”
If God knowingly creates people who will be wicked and face judgment, even if He prefers repentance, he still knowingly brings about a world where their destruction is certain.
If God knowingly creates people whose destruction is certain, how is that just—and why would such a being be worthy of worship?

Because it’s… regarded? Seriously. Think about it. What is the lake of fire running on? Do you even propane costs these days?Quantum1982 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2026 10:10 pmHi,
I would like to know why Mormons don't believe in a literal lake of fire?
Thanks.
