Matthew 14:11

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

That did not sound right so I checked Matthew 14:11. The head was brought on a platter and given to the girl who gave it to her mother. Jesus's response when he learned of this, went off by himself, then crowds found him so Jesus had compassion and healed their sick.

Quantum's logic will also deny the biblical explanation (1 Cor 11:9) of the woman (Eve) being created for the man (Adam). Thus, God did not create the woman for man and neither did he create the lake of fire for those he throws in it.

It's a metaphor. Joseph Smith said:

"A man is his own tormenter and his own condemner... The torment of disappointment in the mind of man is as exquisite as a lake burning with fire and brimstone".
