Even if the case fails, it gives exposure to the LDS church and causes onlookers to consider their theology.
Apparently you believe that a difference in doctrine and theology ought to result in a court case so as to bring to light the "fact" that you're right and the LDS Church is wrong?
Whatever happened to freedom to believe what you want to believe? Do you not allow the LDS Church to do the same thing that you do?

I am bold to declare before Heaven that I am just as ready to die in defending the rights of a Presbyterian, a Baptist, or a good man of any denomination.
Our Articles of Faith (number 11)...you may want to look them up...say that individuals should be free to worship how, where, or what they may.
We allow you that right and yet you would take us to court? C'mon.
The entire premise for this thread is stupid. Frivolous cases get thrown out of court, the attorneys bringing those suits get sanctioned, and the parties bringing those cases end up having to pay the attorneys fees for the other side.
That being said, Quantum is an obvious troll just hoping to stir up the exmo masses so he can turn around and "witness" to them. Is it just me or has there been an uptick in evangelizing to exmos on social media lately? r/exmormon has been seeing some of this as well.
Hey evangelicals hoping to convert us - When we deconstructed our LDS beliefs, yours were even easier to eliminate.

And yet he asks if anyone is willing to assist him in suing the church. The countersuit will be expensive when he loses.
