Man arrested for streaking at Temple Square during General Conference.
Yes, that's the headline of an actual news story. Read all about it here:

Some say it was a protest because he had a bone to pick with the church; others say he was just nuts. Either way, there were families present, so I think it was a dick move.

Clearly, he was trying to expose the church to the naked truth and bare facts.

That's a very real possibility. Of course, he could've been schizophrenic and simply not known he had left the house without clothing. In that case, who told him that he was naked?Fence Sitter wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2026 3:05 pmClearly, he was trying to expose the church to the naked truth and bare facts.
Anyway, rumor has it he had just recently taken out his endowments.
I originally heard that he made it into the old tabernacle, whereupon Church Security caught him by the organ.

I'm just glad William Schryver is staying busy these days.

I heard he was released because the evidence wouldn't stand up in court.Dr. Shades wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2026 3:16 pmThat's a very real possibility. Is it true that he was humming the Iron Rod hymn?
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

Apparently the streaker managed to find the one dress code violation the church hasn't written a handbook paragraph/section for and thought he could get away with it without consequences. The Correlation Department will need to draft a new subsection titled ‘Unexpected Situations We Really Wish We Didn’t Have to Address.’

According to reports, the streaker was the most interesting thing about General Conference, and the only example of actual revelation…
