Looks like it was disingenuous:

I'm serenely confident that it doesn't.
Of course! This is someone who is never wrong; never makes mistakes; never apologizes; and never gives an inch. Even if Dallin Oaks himself came down and said that the Afore needed to clean up his act, he'd find some way to spin it or to find fault with what Oaks had said.

Unsurprisingly, "Acrid Tomato" was banned for saying this.
I’m confused as to why the response levels to “Witnesses”, “Six Days In August”, and now “Becoming Brigham”, have left Peterson unsure about “how we are doing”…it seems strikingly clear.

Now if he was also enquiring for feedback on how he personally was doing vis a vie the exhortations of Oaks for people to act better, be better, towards those who do not believe as he does. Does he not know how he stands against that measurement? Seriously?

Perhaps the Afore was expecting someone from the Heartland group to turn up and give him a peace prize or something…
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

I hear the FIFA peace prize can be purchased for a song.

Don’t count out Becoming Brigham for an Oscar yet.

I hear the next episode is going to be a technical tour-de-force: all one continuous shot. Quite the feat when you’re pointing a camera at a guy in a chair for 15 minutes.

This should get him (with his perfect German) off to a good start:

65 years ago, my first few highschool German lessons consisted of learning Heidenröslein, Mackie Messer (Mac the Knife) and a few other songs whose tunes and parts of the lyrics are still firmly embedded in my brain.

He just can’t stop himself from being disingenuous…
Important notice: My wife and I have been up in Park City this weekend with certain other family members, but no Interpreter Foundation funds have paid for this expedition. No donors were duped into covering our expenses, and no animals have been harmed (thus far, anyway) by our stay here.
Peterson knows that nobody has accused him of getting Redbrick Filmworks to fund his personal family trips. He’s denying an accusation that’s never been made. What is he, 6?

Anyhow. I can’t help but give a cheap shot in return. Within the above he tells a lie. Or has he and his wife and certain other family members turned vegan recently? Because that beef pizza he choked down certainly did involve harming an animal or two. And his obvious proclivity for food suggests rather a lot of animals have been harmed to provide such over sustenance…

Now Dan, how many consecutive days have you been posting things in contravention to the counsel of President Oaks? Did you sustain him? Honestly, you can’t have done and post like you do. Read Oaks talk again. Be better.
