Dan McClellan: There’s No Scriptural Defense For The Church’s Legal Crusade Against John Dehlin

Post by Everybody Wang Chung »

Biblical scholar Dan McClellan has weighed in on the church’s lawsuit against John Dehlin, arguing that the legal action is fundamentally at odds with the admonitions of Jesus. McClellan suggests that rather than pursuing litigation, the church has a unique opportunity to model the very scriptural principles it claims it follows. Kudos to Dan McClellan for taking this stand.

There's not a scriptural defense, but is there a defense from the principles of Master Mahan, or predatory capitalism?
