It's hard to describe. It's a sickening smell that is like a combination of sweet, metallic, and chemical all at the same time. It's not overwhelming but you can tell when they've pushed it without seeing them do it. Sometimes they push it in two steps and I can tell them when I feel it taking effect. This time, for example, they did it in one go and I had no time at all before I was under. It's a big syringe, too. Not like the syringes, for example, that they use for IV or parents use to give meds to an infant. You'd think they were dosing up a cow!

Thanks for asking. It's gross but that few minutes is well worth the result.
