I think that pleading insanity or credibly being medically diagnosed as insane is the only way for him to justifiably escape a guilty verdict.Jersey Girl wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2026 3:22 amDoes anyone think...that he's acting crazy so they 25th amendment him so...when he's charged with one or more crimes he can plead insanity?

No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

That's what I'm saying. He could be ratcheting things up to plead insanity or possibly...dementia if that can be used as a defense. Either way...impaired.Gunnar wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2026 4:15 amI think that pleading insanity or credibly being medically diagnosed as insane is the only way for him to justifiably escape a guilty verdict.Jersey Girl wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2026 3:22 amDoes anyone think...that he's acting crazy so they 25th amendment him so...when he's charged with one or more crimes he can plead insanity?

You could well be right that Trump has figured out that getting himself declared insane may be the only way to avoid imprisonment for the rest of his natural life. Besides that, it is far from improbable that he actually is insane.Jersey Girl wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2026 4:34 amThat's what I'm saying. Great video. There is no doubt in my mind that the small army of greedy lawyers who are willfully filing his ridiculous, frivolous lawsuits on his behalf are well deserving of permanent disbarment.Jersey Girl wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2026 5:18 amLawrence O'Donnell -- tonight

It looks like a string of decisions and rulings are rolling over on him. Artists bailing out on his birthday party, an anti-Trump festival is taking place with actual well known performers, and did you see that his name was ordered removed from the Kennedy Center? Maybe he's finally suffering the backlash that many or most of us would like to see and think that he deserves.Gunnar wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2026 6:47 amGreat video. He starts so many fires that it's difficult to circle back and follow up on them when decisions and rulings are made. I try to keep up but not to the extent that others here do. I don't want to carry him around in my mind. If that makes sense.

Great video, very interesting. They need to throw the entire book at the whole lot of them.Jersey Girl wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2026 8:22 amIt looks like a string of decisions and rulings are rolling over on him. There's an interesting parallel with Stalin. When Stalin rose to power, one of the first things he did was to remove around 50% of the experienced military leaders - to protect himself against the risk of a military coup as a backlash to the actions he was about to take. He rendered his own military leaderless, except for inexperienced junior people and yes men, to facilitate his own agenda of turning the USSR into a police state, which he could dominate. It worked. But it had the unintended consequence of making the USSR military completely inept and unable to resist the German incursion into the USSR as part of Hitter's efforts to colonise most of Europe. Had Hilter and his Generals been in less of a hurry, had they been a bit more patient and thoughtful, Moscow would have fallen. It was only piss poor logistical planning, an unchecked ego, and a particularly bad Russian winter, that saved Stalin and the USSR. The USA military is now far weaker in terms of leadership than it was before Trump went on his crusade towards rendering the USA his own Police State.
