I find Interpreter endlessly amusing, it’s like watching a hamster try to do calculus.
An example of that is how dumbass apologists interpret the geographic boundary described as a "narrow strip of wilderness" and simply don't know what to do with it or how to properly represent it on a map. Brant Gardner is a complete retard. Look at your typical apologetic geography models for the narrow strip of wilderness and you'll see they simply paste the name on their map and brush it up like it's a collection of trees and hills or whatever they want it to be. All of them are retarded idiots! Dumb & stupid apologists can't add or get their directions straight. Mormon dummies!

I see how the tail of Delmarva contains the narrow strip of wilderness:
Alma 22:27 wrote:And it came to pass that the king sent a proclamation throughout all the land, amongst all his people who were in all his land, who were in all the regions round about, which was bordering even to the sea, on the east and on the west, and which was divided from the land of Zarahemla by a narrow strip of wilderness, which ran from the sea east even to the sea west, and round about on the borders of the seashore, and the borders of the wilderness which was on the north by the land of Zarahemla, through the borders of Manti, by the head of the river Sidon, running from the east towards the west—and thus were the Lamanites and the Nephites divided.

I don’t think there’s a limit to what they could try to defend. The Mark Hoffman debacle showed the world that they just integrate whatever nonsense they have to into a grand unified mess.

If the current prophet says the world is flat, Dan would be a flat earther. That’s just how it works. Obedience is the highest law that trumps everything.

I don’t think that’s quite right. Dan is obedient only as far as it suits him. For example, the Prophet wants people to serve a senior mission, is Dan showing obedience to that? The Prophet wants members to be kind in their online interactions, is Dan showing obedience to that? The moment something about Mormonism, or something the Prophet says, fails to align with his own personal position, it’s jettisoned. He’s not a “How high?” type of guy.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

Running the Interpreter Foundation is the ultimate senior mission! The photos of DCP standing in the general vicinity of prominent Mormon leaders is basically proof of that.

That is certainly how he chooses to view it, in order to wave away any guilt or sense of obligation to serve an authentic Church senior mission that he may (or more likely may not) feel. I doubt his Saviour sees it that way.

He loves a photo op and a name drop almost as much as he loves chocolate milk.
