I want to return to this and deal with the trolling head on.

Sorry, Xanax, but I have that sock puppet on Ignore. That makes two of your profiles I’ve set to Ignore because you’re an insatiable cockhound who doesn’t read, goldfishes, does drive-by posting, and goes in circles because you’re an imbecile in the clinical sense. You’re either going to have to do better by arguing points in good faith and answering questions in good faith (without asking red herring questions), or give it the ol’ college try with another profile.

I did troll Doc and it was a deserved trolling. The bet was very specific. He had to rattle off something about some sex act that implied that he was calling someone a homosexual and doing so to insult them or their intelligence.

This post where he claims to ignore me now was done after I pointed out what he was doing and that I was trolling him. Trolling can be annoying. But do you know what is more annoying? When we create such an extreme hostile community that the only dialogue that can get through - are the trolls. I watch liberals complain about Tucker Carlson and I have to laugh a lot. Tucker Carlson is getting through because he is trolling the crap out of the liberals. Because the only dialogue they will allow is harsh loyalty and hatred for the other side. The moderates and non-rabid folks just move out and move on (like will happen in a forum like this eventually) and all that will remain are the dominant jerks with loud voices and hatred. You will have a few people getting attention and the rest will just walk away. That is the point of trolling here - because moderation is not allowed, but trolling and bombastic behavior is allowed. You are either on the side of that Some Schmo guy and Doc Cam, or you are not here for long.

• Doc is wrong. I am not Xanax. His insistence that I am makes him either a fool or a liar. Simple as that.

• I read a lot. Again, his credibility is deteriorating quickly.

• I do not do drive-by posting. Quite the opposite. While engaged in up to six threads I made sure to visit them often and respond to any open posts.

• I do not go in circles. I do, however, not accept all the ridiculous questions meant to shame me or guilt me by who I may or may not be without addressing the content of my posts.

• Doc, if he is in fact a clinician, would know better than to make a clinical diagnosis. He is a fraud for doing so as a clinician or doing so not as a clinician. That is a big red flag when people pretend to make a clinical diagnosis and share it publicly. They can only be frauds.

Nobody on this board or any board owes you an answer to personal questions so you can hang them in the public gallows for nothing more than not being like you. Screw you and F off you coward. I think it is clear, writing style fits the rhythm of a persons mind, that cultellus is not sock puppet of anyone else who has posted much certainly not ajax, subgenius, ldsfaqs, mark etc.

It is clear they are a strong right conservative posting faux liberal comments part of the time and occasionally letting actual views peek through.

I have trolled before. I admit that. It is rare that I do it, but I have done it.

In this case, I did so because I like boards like this generally but find this one to be mired in a fog of BS from a few posters with agendas that are beyond the general conversation of the board. We all do things with our time for entertainment even if the return from our time is an opportunity cost (negative) or just giggle and a small rush on the positive side. I also enjoy writing and writing with a purpose is more entertaining for me.

I have trolled TBM boards as well. I do not do that often and no longer enjoy it. I do not enjoy heavily moderated boards. This one seemed to have all the right conditions, including a few people that were going to swallow a big hook. I also only like doing it short term and being rather obvious about it. This thread is an example of just how obvious I prefer to be.

I also like the reaction that a troll can create when it is done rather transparently.

Finally. I think clever trolls are actually great for the dialogue. A heck of a lot more interesting than yes-posters.

Upthread, you said you’d been banned from many forums for posting as you have done here, which I understood as trolling. But then you describe your trolling as rare. How many boards would you estimate you’ve been banned from? And why boards where faithful and former Mormons congregate? What’s the attraction?
