The legal wrangling here with strip clubs involves something to do with ‘free speech’, but there will be a hearing about this at the end of the month. I would also guess that most strip clubs are more sparsely populated than most churches to begin with, but that’s an entirety separate consideration.

To point out ajax’s exaggeration, it is not ‘illegal’ to go to a church; there are temporary rules about it needing to happen out of doors or with limited attendance.

Yes, that was the exact thing he was lying about in that post. It is a regular practice of his to mischaracterize any and all situations. It is one of the many ways he prevaricates on this board.

He can't be bothered to tell the truth, so it's not really important to articulate the exact issues with every one of his posts. We all know he's full of crap. He has to know he's full of crap, unless he's literally mentally retarded. My responses to him are almost always an expression of disbelief someone could be such a shameless liar and hypocrite.

There have been many times when I know what he's referring to, but the way he expressed it is complete BS. Pointing out there was a nugget of truth is usually a distraction from the larger issue that it was mostly nonsense, and that it certainly doesn't come from an honest place.

ETA: A great example is the way he talks about voter fraud. Of course, there may be a handful of cases of voter fraud, so if someone says something general like, "There's no significant voter fraud," ajax comes along and says, "You can't deny voter fraud exists." If you say, in good faith, "Yes, it's true some voter fraud exists, but it's insignificant" ajax then jumps to the false equivalence that because it exists, there must be enough of it to fix the election for Biden. In some future post of his, he'll claim you admitted to widespread voter fraud.

There's no point playing that game with bad faith idiots and assholes.
