What is what you thought? Tell me what I meant.

Re: Role of Anti-apologists in the Organization
Seriously, how could it?
In the OP, Cultellus divided up the individuals here into these stereotypes:
"core group of critics"
"enforcers"
"sacrificial servants" or "pissboys"
Undeniable stereotyping. And yet he either can't or doesn't see it. And when someone attempts to show it to him, he either explodes into profanity-filled rage or leaves the conversation. And he can't stand behind the things he said to the extent that he has to mass delete posts. That indicates to me really painful levels of cognitive dissonance.

Why do people go to the same neighborhood bar for decades? Why do people go to the same church for decades?
Social interaction.
Social interaction.
"I have learned with what evils tyranny infects a state. For it frustrates all the virtues, robs freedom of its lofty mood, and opens a school of fawning and terror, inasmuch as it leaves matters not to the wisdom of the laws, but to the angry whim of those who are in authority.”

Yep. It's really not a hard question. It's also not hard to get people to talk about their reasons: just ask without beating them about the head and shoulders first.

No, it didn’t. But from his preserved manifesto:
Ok. But then there is this bizarre segue into something entirely different:whoever Cultellus is wrote: I can understand the shared interests in discussing the apologists and nuances of what is going on with your shared heritage, including the shared past beliefs in something as kooky as the Book of Mormon, the Papyrus fraud fiasco, alleged maps and Mormon History explanations. I get that and I appreciate it.
Where did that come from? I don’t see that here, but it’s clearly something Cultellus feels strongly about.is this an issue he has elsewhere?…Why also organize what you have in common around hatred and bigotry toward anyone that owns a small business or did an apprenticeship in a the electrician union instead of going to Harvard Law, becoming a surgeon or wearing a pussy hat on inauguration day?

I clearly got under his skin and inside his head, and even though I had him on ignore for a couple of weeks, I could see him following me around the board, responding to everything I said. He even changed his avatar to the scales of justice. I think it was when I called him out on trying to shame me for working hard to get the education I have and being proud of that effort.Lem wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 7:47 pmNo, it didn’t. I’ll trade you. Being female, I got trolled with stuff like my spouse needing to turn over the alarm clock to dim the light before sex, etc. I would vastly prefer to be trolled for being a Ivy League professor, with an Ivy League education, who teaches a hard science to graduate students, rather than the gender crap these clowns resort to. But, gender stereotypes persist.Res Ipsa wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 8:00 pmI clearly got under his skin and inside his head, and even though I had him on ignore for a couple of weeks, I could see him following me around the board, responding to everything I said.
