Conservatives Ingesting Horse Dewormers to prevent COVID
The FOX News network is inspiring vaccine skeptics to ingest livestock medication purchased at feed stores.
Yes, the people who like to call liberals "sheep" are literally taking livestock drugs. You just can't make this stuff up.

Here is what the FDA says about ivermectin:
https://www.fda.gov/consumers/consumer- ... t-covid-19
From the FDA article:
https://www.fda.gov/consumers/consumer- ... t-covid-19
From the FDA article:
And:Ivermectin tablets are approved by the FDA to treat people with intestinal strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis, two conditions caused by parasitic worms. In addition, some topical (on the skin) forms of ivermectin are approved to treat external parasites like head lice and for skin conditions such as rosacea.
And:The FDA has not reviewed data to support use of ivermectin in COVID-19 patients to treat or to prevent COVID-19; however, some initial research is underway. Taking a drug for an unapproved use can be very dangerous. This is true of ivermectin, too.
There’s a lot of misinformation around, and you may have heard that it’s okay to take large doses of ivermectin. That is wrong.
Even the levels of ivermectin for approved uses can interact with other medications, like blood-thinners. You can also overdose on ivermectin, which can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hypotension (low blood pressure), allergic reactions (itching and hives), dizziness, ataxia (problems with balance), seizures, coma and even death.
For one thing, animal drugs are often highly concentrated because they are used for large animals like horses and cows, which can weigh a lot more than we do—a ton or more. Such high doses can be highly toxic in humans.
Moreover, FDA reviews drugs not just for safety and effectiveness of the active ingredients, but also for the inactive ingredients. Many inactive ingredients found in animal products aren’t evaluated for use in people. Or they are included in much greater quantity than those used in people. In some cases, we don’t know how those inactive ingredients will affect how ivermectin is absorbed in the human body.
Meanwhile, effective ways to limit the spread of COVID-19 continue to be to wear your mask, stay at least 6 feet from others who don’t live with you, wash hands frequently, and avoid crowds.
Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.

Ivermectin is great for all kinds of ailments. We use it topically combined for different stuff like ringworm, we deal with a lot animals and anyone who is in close contact with animals has a chance of getting ringworm. I know ladies who are in the horse industry who have been taking Ivermectin internally for as long as I can remember. Ivermectin, as long as you know how to dose it, is relatively safe compared to what drugs they used to take. Not a big deal.Alf'Omega wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 12:55 pmThe FOX News network is inspiring vaccine skeptics to ingest livestock medication purchased at feed stores.

Are any people combining this horse medication with bleach? What about copper bracelets and magnetic headbands?**

I didn't say it was. That's why I said we combine it. I guess I should've said we use with an antifungal. My wife puts a third one in there also but I don't know what it is. Why are you using it in conjunction with antifungals for treating ringworm?Atlanticmike wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 4:37 pmI didn't say it was. That's why I said we combine it. The snake oil industry, promoted by fraudsters like Mercola, makes bank of the anti-science left and right. Most of the time, damage is only to the pocketbooks of the gullible, with infrequent, tragic results. But, this pool of anti-science folks also gives rise to widespread harm like the current anti-mask and anti-vaccine movements. It all stems from the idea that Uncle Ira, who runs a stable, knows more about medicine than doctors, chemists, biologists, the product manufacture, and the government agency charged with approving drugs, combined with a paranoid belief that a cheap, easy solution exists for everyone problem but “they” are hiding it from us.

She combines three together, can't remember what the third is. Uses it on animals also. Not really that big of a deal, cheap way to try to cure before calling a vet for animals.Doctor Steuss wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 4:47 pmWhy are you using it in conjunction with antifungals for treating ringworm?Atlanticmike wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 4:37 pmI didn't say it was.
