You didn't answer my question. I'd like to here your take. Who do you think had the moral highground in the American revolution?Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 9:07 pmWhen you can’t spin the facts - Never admit being wrong. Pivot. Rinse and repeat.ajax18 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 7:14 pm
This has got me thinking about George Washington ( who I suspect you see as nothing more than a white supremacist as well). I see him as a liberator and a man inspired by God but to the British he was just an outlaw or terrorist. One must wonder how the stamp act and tax on tea were that much more intolerable than paying 40 cents on the dollar in taxes we routinely pay now. The British were only levying the taxes to pay for the French/Indian war that was necessary to establish a claim to the lands that were conquered for the colonists. No the colonists didn't have much say in it but I'm not convinced taxpayers have much more say in it now either.
What's your view on the revolution Doc? Was it a just cause or were the colonists nothing more than terrorist rebels?
Xanax is a secessionist. He’s a white nationalist. He doesn’t want to see this country move forward intact. He has nothing to offer except lies, obfuscation, stupidities, and irrationality in order to try to convince people they need their own ethnostates.

And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

I sense that you’re wanting to see the folks having the moral high ground as the ones who, in reaction to tax policy, obscured their faces and donned costumes, then held a small riot in which they destroyed about $1.7 million dollars (adjusted for inflation) worth of someone else’s property.
And that’s cool, as long as you’re aware of your rationalizations.

Ajax,
I’m not playing your goldfish pivot game. The American revolution has no relevance for your desire to exonerate General Flynn. My pointing out your disastrous ideologies in order to illustrate your M.O. is to simply to explain why you post the things you do and why you suffer from disevidentia.

No, Flynn should have been convicted of General treason. Of course under Trump, he could be promoted to the rank of General Treason and be eligible for a half-price discount at Mar-a-Lago.

So you'd say the British cause was the just cause in 1776?canpakes wrote: ↑Fri Nov 27, 2020 2:02 amI sense that you’re wanting to see the folks having the moral high ground as the ones who, in reaction to tax policy, obscured their faces and donned costumes, then held a small riot in which they destroyed about $1.7 million dollars (adjusted for inflation) worth of someone else’s property.

And about Jose flying an American flag. Do you kneel in protest when you hear the national anthem played Doc?Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Fri Nov 27, 2020 2:20 amAjax,

By the way, I fly an American flag at my house even if that is viewed as white supremacism by Antifa, BLM, and most of the Democratic party! You know the people you'd pay the bail for to free members of your party who vandalize and deface houses that fly American flags.

Only that the British could rationalize it as such in just the same way that you can rationalize the looting and destruction of other people’s property over non-life-threatening policy disagreements.ajax18 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 27, 2020 5:04 amSo you'd say the British cause was the just cause in 1776?canpakes wrote: ↑Fri Nov 27, 2020 2:02 am

The difference between you and I is I read what you post, and address my responses to you based on the evidence you provided. You, otoh, don’t really read, and thus you have to create some character that has nothing to do with who I am or what I believe. This is pretty typical of the Right-wing fantasists that post here. Why don’t you get back to the subject of Gen. Flynn and why he advances your secessionist desires? Also, the sheer irony of YOU flying the U-N-I-O-N’s flag is too delicious not to notice. You have exactly zero respect for what that flag represents, as evidenced by your statements and by your support of Trump who put himself before patria.ajax18 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 27, 2020 6:07 amAnd about Jose flying an American flag. You may not believe that people have the right to loot and destroy property and play the race card as a method of empowering themselves to break the law and not be held accountable in court because America is a systemically racist country. You may not believe that the police should be defunded and the streets of the entire USA be like CHAZ on the west coast. But the things you do push for have these unintended consequences because of the people you choose to vote for based on other issues. You, otoh, don’t really read, and thus you have to create some character that has nothing to do with who I am or what I believe.
Watch the youtube video and tell me if you think Andrew McCabe was telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth is in his If so, then no I don't want to come together and move forward in that direction. You can't spend 4 years tyring to undo the election of 2016 and expect that the other 79 million people are just going to roll over and submit to things like these ineffective, economy destroying, hypocrticially enforced, government power grab lockdowns.

For some reason, I'm highly entertained this morning by you scaring the crap out of yourself with your own BS. Nobody deserves it more.
What a sad, pathetic existence, living in perpetual, self-made fear over nonsense.
Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense.
