No, I wrote the post and didn't know what would be appropriate to call it. By that evening, I had decided and posted this, with the current name, back the first time you asked me about this:

The multi tiered board system still doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me.

Is any of this drama from the other forum worth delving into? What is the point of raising it here?

I agree the goal is to keep it off this level, that's why I moved my comment here, hoping to get away from it. My post was meant to be a starting tribute to our friend Grindael, whose posts, in Terrestrial, SP or anywhere, were always a treat- educational, joyful, full of life.

Derail, good Doc? You want to keep this a tribute to Grindael, right? You can move it back in the direction you would like. I simply came in for the reasons I mentioned in my original post. As in times past and as per many other threads, I am willing to exit this thread whenever you’re done with your shenanigans.

Time to get back on topic?

for what it's worth I think it might be good to move all of the non-tribute posts so this thread stands as a respectable tribute.

I understand but by that point there had been 3 hours for those called out in the first post to begin defending themselves and for a discussion to develop. For those 3 hours there was no discussion of a tribute because there was no mention of a tribute.

It was moved here from somewhere else, to "a more appropriate venue" because I didn't want mention of grindael to be sullied by our trolls. It didn't actually work, as the trolls are here, but I tried.

I completely agree that I don't understand it as well as you do, as I haven't been involved with the back and forth on this. I only saw the boil-over. I defer to you and everyone else who has years of history on this board and will bow out of this one.

This is a good example of Mental’s trolling. He routinely ignores questions, pulls at threads to unravel ongoing discussions, and virtually always makes a thread about himself when he baits posters into responding to him through insults, passive aggressive behavior, or evangelizing.
