I ask that Stem be considered as a moderator. He volunteered early, has been here (in one 'stem' form or another) for about a decade, and I haven't seen that anyone has any objections to him. I'm not nominating him; he nominated himself. I think he at least deserves an explanation for why he wasn't included. Or am I missing something?

It seems there was some early confusion as to how serious his initial volunteering was but now that this is settled I too would be in favor of adding his voice to the team. If he hasn't done so already I might recommend that he send a PM to Shades directly as I'm not sure how much time he has had to read through and see where he confirmed he wanted the post.

Yes and may I add that I have also interacted with stem in a private group setting. He's a very reasonable and well balanced person. He's a decent human being.

I might have guessed as much. We have a new poster on board and I think people making requests re: the rules is confusing to a newcomer.
