Establishing global idiocy by gargling with betadine is being tried by some true blue Trumpians.

Global warming and Covid are established science. There can be no room for disagreement on what is the best way to respond. When the CDC bureaucrets have spoken, the thinking has been done. Anyone not willing to mask up, shut down their business, or give up their car has blood on their hands for the deaths of 0.04% of the population.I sometimes suspect even you know you are spewing complete B.S..
Follow Dr. Fauci, follow Dr. Fauci, follow Dr. Fauci don't go astray. Follow Dr. Fauci, follow Dr. Fauci, follow Dr. Fauci he knows the way!
What percent of Canadians are vaccinated Themis? Did the lockdowns and restrictions ease up any in Canada because of it?
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Ajax, if you reject the advice of Dr. Fauci and the CDC guidelines on preventing COVID-19 and mitigating its effects, you are also rejecting the guidance and advice of the Church you claim to believe in and its Prophet, Russell M. Nelson - believe it or not! This has already been clearly pointed out to you on this very board!
Apparently you don't believe in following your Prophet, any more than you believe in following Dr. Fauci! Do you think President Nelson has become a Mormon apostate!

Amid a surge in coronavirus variants, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints issued a strong call Thursday to its members to wear masks “in public meetings whenever social distancing is not possible” and to “be vaccinated.”
“We find ourselves fighting a war against the ravages of COVID-19 and its variants,” the governing First Presidency wrote to everyone in the 16.6 million-member church. “...We want to do all we can to limit the spread of these viruses. We know that protection from the diseases they cause can only be achieved by immunizing a very high percentage of the population.”
At the same time, via email, they instituted a mask mandate for all church employees, service missionaries, and volunteers “whenever indoors and social distancing is not possible, regardless of vaccination status.” They also are inviting the workers to report whether they have been inoculated.

No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

What’s weird is we’ve seen far more open devotion and praise for Trump and some like-minded GQP’ers by some Mormons than we’ve seen open devotion for Rusty “Gump” Nelson, and even Jesus Christ Himself. And by devotion I’m talking about claiming Trump was god sent and god ordained to ‘save America’ or whatever.Gunnar wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 6:54 pmAjax, if you reject the advice of Dr. Fauci and the CDC guidelines on preventing COVID-19 and mitigating its effects, you are also rejecting the guidance and advice of the Church you claim to believe in and its Prophet, Russell M. No more than Wilford Woodruff or Lorenzo Snow. Do you think they just suddenly stopped believing in the principle of plural marriage? By the way Russell M. Nelson is sealed to two wives now for time and all eternity.Apparently you don't believe in following your Prophet, any more than you believe in following Dr. Fauci! There are people who would like nothing more than to sue the church for a windfall because they felt compelled to attend Sunday meetings and got Covid. I personally am happy to see no tithing money being wasted or misused in this manner and that's due to President Nelson's inspiration and guidance in how he has chosen his words with big brother watching and anxious to get his hands on the church's money.

Speaking of nonsense, here’s how some folks in Michigan reacted to a mandatory seatbelt ordinance passed by their city council:

It’s two minutes long, which is probably one minute and fifty-five seconds too long for attention spans, but it’s worth the watch to understand the raging retard antivax mindset these days.

So, are you confirming that you do indeed reject your Prophet's advice on vaccination, masking and social distancing with regard to combatting and mitigating the pandemic?ajax18 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 7:42 pmNo more than Wilford Woodruff or Lorenzo Snow. Re: Why only seatbelts?
I wear a mask at church. I wear one at work. I give the patient the optiom to remove the mask for the refraction or they can choose a foggy refraction. I got the vaccine though I still belive my natural immunity was more effective and the vaccine was unnecessary. In my case it wasn't going to hurt me either.
I don't see any contradiction in saying masks should be optional but wearing one to protect myself financially from unhinged and tyrannical leftists who now control the government.
