Who would have expected that it would be a group of major banks banding together to slow down one of Trump’s last attempts to ruin or sabotage one of the Nation’a more well-known resources?

The Trump administration just lost a powerful ally in its quest to open up Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to fossil fuel companies. On Monday, Bank of America announced that it won't provide any financing for projects that involve oil and gas exploration in the Arctic. The announcement puts Bank of America in line with the positions of Chase, CitiBank, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Wells Fargo, all of whom have likewise decided to withhold funding for any efforts to tear up ANWR.

The news means every major bank in the US is now in lockstep when it comes to their positions on drilling in the largest plot of untouched wilderness in America. That will create significant hurdles for any company hoping to land funding with the goal of drilling for oil in the Arctic at a time when the Trump administration is hoping to lease plots of the land as quickly as possible before the Biden administration takes office.

The Justice Department is investigating a potential crime related to funneling money to the White House or related political committee in exchange for a presidential pardon, according to court records unsealed Tuesday in federal court.

The case is the latest legal twist in the waning days of President Donald Trump's administration after several of his top advisers have been convicted of federal criminal charges and as the possibility rises of Trump giving pardons to those who've been loyal to him.

The disclosure is in 20 pages of partially redacted documents made public by the DC District Court on Tuesday afternoon. The records show Chief Judge Beryl Howell's review in August of a request from prosecutors to access documents obtained in a search as part of a bribery-for-pardon investigation.

These people were arrested and held in military prisons, without trial, some of them for years.

Their problem is believing it's THEIR exclusive right rather than that of ALL voting aged and eligible Americans. Like most of these claims, they want to see other voters disenfranchised because they don't like the result and don't realize claims of election fraud don't equal actual election fraud. A court that doesn't see massive, planned, illegal election fraud* in the "evidence" presented is upholding the Constitution when it shuts down the empty legal challenges that we've seen.
