The US initially purchased 100 million doses of Moderna's vaccine, and last week agreed to buy 100 million more doses.

Note: The US currently does not have the option to buy more of the Pfizer vaccine. The administration is working toward that by offering to use the DPA to supply whatever Pfizer needs to produce vaccine fast enough to cover another purchase for the US.

The way it looks is that the Astra Zeneca and J&J vaccines will take up wherever Pfizer and Moderna left off in the overall roll out so that the vaccines will be coming at us in waves.
