I knew someone would pick up on that! I'm only surprised that someone else did before she did. Seriously, though, my son's pugs, though they might not have been typical pugs, were really dumb. One of them never even managed to learn the basics of paper training, never mind house training! The dog he has now, though, is not only smart as a whip, but very lovable and protective and solicitous towards his children. Plus he is big enough to serve as a credible deterrent against mountain lions his wife might encounter while jogging for exercise in the Sierra foothills community where they live. She has already spotted one at least once on her regular jogs.

The GRU were behind the theft of Clinton campaign emails and their steady dissemination into the media feed the last month or so of the election. Don't agree? Explain again why you're butthurt over the media not reporting innuendo about Hunter Biden that didn't hold up to initial scrutiny.

Oh yeah? Pugs are very needy little animals. People don't own Pugs, Pugs own people. They want to be near you (I mean right up against you) all the time. When you leave, they look at you out the door like you're a child abuser. They are fantastic nappers. Their snoring can put you to sleep. They like to get dressed up. I am not joking! We have had 2 Pugs, actually one belonged to one of our kids. Then we got one about a year later and the older one raised the puppy. They were SO stinking fun together! That Pug died 2 years ago. Our Pug is almost 17 years old now and where a couple of months ago I would have said we're on the home stretch, so to speak, I will tell you that right now we are staring straight at the finish line, Gunnar. Our vet says we are doing everything right by her but I don't think she'll be here even a month more.
What do you think about Chihuahuas? There are 2 in the family now and I really like them. They are very tiny, portable, affectionate, playful, and I think if they are socialized properly they're fun to be with and are easy to get along with. They seem to be very smart but I could see that without the right guidance, they could easily become little mischief makers. These 2 are not demonic. They kind of flit around and do their own thing. House training has gone very well. I take care of one of them from time to time. I never knew a Chihuahua until these two. I kind of like them!

We can't take farmers and take all their people and send them back because they don't have maybe what they're supposed to have. They get rid of some of the people who have been there for 25 years and they work great and then you throw them out and they're replaced by criminals.
