I sent in my ballot. It took 18 days to get from Europe to my home state. It has spent an additional 24 days "in transit" although the county clerk is only across town. I checked with the government elections tracker, and although there is a record of my absentee ballot request, no record of it being received. Grrr.

I must admit, I did it for selfish reasons— to potentially protect myself from contracting COVID. Every now and then someone in my work area tests positive, and we’ve started seeing patients again. I’m pretty sure I got the real vaccine versus the sodium chloride. I’m in the Moderna trial.
