Yeah....there were a huge amount of posts that just disappeared from that thread and other threads over the last few days, They are trying to send a message.

Well, if you read the most recent posts by Juliann on that thread, she's playing nice now with everyone (critics and TBMs), probably in an effort to prove ALarson and others wrong. Maybe what he posted woke her up to how horribly nasty she comes across. But I doubt it.

I also think that there is very much a desire to achieve that validation [that critics want for their doubts] by getting others to join them. If they can convince another believing member that the doubt that led them from the Church is correct and cause another member to leave then it in some way would validate their decision. It's not just about validation, it's about validation through sharing doubts.

Or to put it another way, misery loves company even when someone doesn't think they are actually miserable because of the decision to leave.
