I came up to the terrestrial from spirit paradise because of Marcus starting a thread titled “Peterson’s parents, left alone because they weren’t LDS”. Seriously? Honest question, Stig! How do you feel about Peterson, Wilcox and other Mormons being torn apart nonstop on this forum? Do you honestly think Mormons are bad people trying to do bad things? I understand having a board to vent about Mormonism, especially if you’ve left and are having a hard time transitioning, but damn!!! There’s nothing brought up positive about Mormonism! Mormons are some of the nicest people you’ll meet and I’m not just sayin that because I’m Mormon, I’m sayin it because in my experience it’s true. In general most Mormons want to do good. This board is extremely one sided. If you’ve read what I’ve written over there then you know I’m really open minded for a Mormon. I’ve as far from orthodox Mormon as you can get, but that doesn’t matter here. The Mormon label along with being a conservative puts a target on your back when posting here. Problem is, I’m evil enough to enjoy it! But like I said, I’m willing to change.

So, the self-victimization lament. It's a weird flex that shows up all too often in the Mormon arsenal. Just based on my anecdotal experience, it seems based on that fairly common idea in LDS church members that any comment openly disagreeing with LDS position is perceived as a personal insult and requires a vigorous defense, which of course seldom goes well in normal society, hence the self-victimization stance. Odd and illogical, but what about Mormonism isn't?

So let me see if I undeserved you correctly. Spirit paradise not in shambles before I showed up even though Doc Cam accused a handful of posters there of sucking certain body parts and also comparing body parts to mushrooms?

And then up here in the terrestrial, if I call Daniel Peterson a jerk, fat slob, twerp, prick, etc, I’m a ok, but defending him I’m turning the terrestrial forum into shambles?

If I call Brad Wilcox a SOB or say he shouldn’t be too Mormony while being recorded I’m ok, but if I call RFM the prophet of Exmormonism I’m ruining the board, is that what you’re saying?

Again, you’re trying to summon Shades so he can save you from a Mormon that’s willing to throw jabs just like Doc Cam, k Graham, Marcus, doubtingthomas, Jersey and a few others. Their antics and name calling is completely fine with you, but I’m to much because I’m not willing to conform. You want me to stand still and let them punch me while my hands are behind my back.
