I don't think reality is as simplistic as you like to pretend. Just like I don't think you are the authority in what may or may not constitute "common sense" either.

You literally think your sacred scripture was written by racists thus forcing you to reject your own sacred scripture's doctrine on skin curses.

When parts of the Bible (or Book of Mormon) express bias or bigotry or other flawed, human perceptions - then that needs to be understood in that context and what motivates the author of the text. But, like I said, that would take level of maturity and sophistication that someone, such as yourself has yet to demonstrate.

The Church teaches a lot of things I disagree with. When you say the Book of Mormon is a near perfect book, you are just begging for trouble. When Evangelicals make similar claims about the Bible, I approach them with the same level of incredulity.

I said no such thing. I said you should read the Bible and Book of Mormon with a degree of maturity and sophistication, so you can properly understand those books and what is contained in them.
