I'm certainly willing to take what he says as true, which in my opinion, makes Schryver look really bad for having led readers towards this possibility. I would imagine this would be very hurtful to Nibley's family.

Thank you. I know his reputation, but I wonder why Mr. Schryver would make these comments, even in jest. As an outside observer, I was left with the impression that Mr. Schryver wanted to lead readers like myself to this conclusion, without being direct.

I'm still waiting for you to post a link to Schryver's comments. I searched (via Google) for "Darth Nibley" and "Hugh Vader" but the only hit is your OP on this thread. It's not that I don't trust you. It's just the kind of thing Schryver would say. But I wanted to read the rest of the thread where this was said. What was the context?
