And even when someone like me, for instance, who has lived what one might call the American Dream (sort of and not without hardship), who DOES own a home, vehicles, and property outright, who has a pile of money, who owns stocks, who made choices that led to that very outcome, who worked all of my life and now manages to enjoy a life with little stress (except for the pandemic of course), who is in a position to contribute to the lives of others in an attempt to yank the other guy up with me, who for all intents and purposes came out of poverty and ended up in a good financial place ...

you resent the ever loving crap out of me.
Why can't you contribute to the lives of others privately in an attempt to yank the other guy up with you without taxing the rest of us.
Congrats you went right off the rails and straight into bizarro land with this. Who is this "you" that you speak of? I'm not doing a damn thing to you.
There's nothing charitable about what you've done by supporting the policies of people like Biden or Ocasio Cortez.

Biden and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are two entirely different animals. I've never once taken a stand on anything Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has said or attempted to promote. Biden? You bet your blind ass that I support his policies thus far. He's not even in the goddamn White House yet and you are assuming that everything he wants he'll get.

You need to get one foot in the real world and rethink that position.
I resent you because you're giving away a country and a large portion of other peoples income that doesn't even belong to you.
Oh no. Now you are just being totally dishonest. You've expressed a number of reasons that you feel contempt for me. Among them, after decades of working my ass off, I don't work. After decades of living below my means, the only thing I'm in hock for is the food on my table, the utilities, insurance, etc. And as I've stated many times on the previous board, I still live below my means.

Now you're attempting to twist the conversation to what you would like it to be. I'm not giving away crap to anyone and if it doesn't belong to me, then it doesn't belong to you to "fight for" in the imaginary war you're having in your head. Now I'm giving away an entire country. Such reasoning skills are not to be believed.
It was never yours to give in the first place.

I repeat. I'm not giving anything to anyone. If it was never mine to give, then it's not yours either.
What gives you the right to be generous with other peoples earnings or even our land we've inherited?

The land we inherited? You mean the land we slaughtered and forced relocated indigenous tribes for? That land? We inherited exactly nothing. We STOLE it and not only that, we forced human beings into slavery to develop it. You know what, bury my heart at Wounded Knee, let freedom ring, and take every opportunity to go screw yourself as you see fit for as long as you feel a need to.
That is immoral and unconstitutional.

Racism is immoral. Putting a shiny coat of paint on atrocities and the systemic suppression of human beings and calling that an inheritance is dishonest.
And my statement stands. Philo kicking Texas out of the union would be the best thing that ever happened to Texas.
Read ALL of the sentences of his post. Paragraphs. They mean something.

I won't be fighting for an ethnostate or any race. Once the socialist are driven off my land and out of my paycheck, I'll be content. Tyrannical majorities can be fought. In this case it's not even a majority. Without voter fraud the left would not have won this election.

That is completely false. Biden didn't win as a result of widespread voter fraud.
Also, Attorney General William Barr — who had broken with longstanding guidance in the Department of Justice by instructing prosecutors to investigate allegations of voter fraud before the election results were certified — said on Dec. 1 that his department has “not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”

There doesn't need to be a fight. Kerry already suggested booting Texas out of the union. I hope he's successful.

Texas isn't as red of a state as it used to be. Texas is now a light red State with Iowa and Ohio more red than Texas.

Trump's margin of victory in these three states:
Texas - 5.58%
Ohio -- 8.03%
Iowa -- 8.20%

Arizona and Georgia used to be red states, but they are now purple states with Biden having won them.

More to the point, ajax, can you tell me what was inherently moral about how your ancestor(s) obtained land that they subsequently claimed was theirs?
The Constitution was an agreement amongst the victors in the Revolutionary war. That agreement has been broken one too many times as far as I'm concerned.
You may have inherited land through no fault or effort of your own. That’s fine, and legal under the present system.
No fault? Do you expect me to be ashamed of my ancestors carving out a place for me in this world? What kind of upside down world are we living in now? Hunter Biden sure isn't ashamed of his inheritance. If you don't believe me, go ask him for some of it. Hell go to Mexico and try to tell a property owner there that the land belongs to everyone and his land was ultimately obtained through racism and colonialization, therefore he should submit to your taxes to properly and fairly redistribute it.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

All of this is commendable and I have no reason to resent any of this. I never have.

That's exactly what Democrats and Brackite like Republicans have done.

Then give your own land and inheritance away if you think it was obtained immorally. That still gives you no right to give mine away.

Yeah, if only something could be done about those pesky honest people. Why can't they just lie in obvious and idiotic ways, like ajax and Trump? I mean, it's easy for real Republicans to lie. Honest Republicans are RINOs.

Yeah, thanks to your open borders politics in Arizona. If Arizona were a soveriegn state, Jan Brewer would have stopped the problem before it started. But thanks to the federal government Obama was able to unconstitutionally keep the border from being enforced!

The Hispanics in Georgia are not much different than the Cubans in Florida. It took massive voter fraud at the local level to turn Georgia blue. Democrats would never won the election in Georgia without cheat by mail voting. In contrast Governor De Santis was able to clean out the voter fraud before the 2020 election and Republicans won easily. And as the hispanics continue to multiply in the state, Republicans will continue winning because they understand what socialism means.

My use of the phrase, “no fault”, was partially in jest.

Anyhow, your claim to your particular ‘moral’ right to land doesn’t stand up well to a more complete historical timeline. Just pointing that out, given your indignant assertion.
