Clearly I have time to waste, because I'm trying one more time to show whyme how he doesn't listen or respond meaningfully to what people have said.
In response to my question about why whyme complains about postmormon but does not complain about MAD, he replied:
MAADs mission statement is very clear. Also, it is common knowledge that critics will be culled if they begin to out number the LDS. I remember that this was once mentioned. My problem with Postmo is their mission statement. I bought into it and was duly punished for doing so. I was very postmo, inactive member who went to them to clear my thoughts and to post postmo ideas about life with people who claimed that they were beyond Mormonism in their mission statement. and yes, I did defend the LDS church against the over generalizations on the board about Mormonism.
I asked him to prove that MAD is upfront about its bias against critics. He ignored me. I then provided evidence from both postmormon's and MAD's board guidelines that demonstrated the exact opposite of whyme's assertions. MAD's quotes demonstrated that only well-known scholars or apologists are openly admitted to being given preferential treatment. There is no mention of believers in general being given preferential treatment. In addition, it is admitted to be a
debate board, as they provide another forum
without debate.Postmormon's board guidelines clearly demonstrate that the board is intended to be used for
support by those who have left Mormonism or are thinking of doing so. Mormon believers will be tolerated under certain conditions.
Conditions:
As a guest you are expected to conduct yourself as any guest normally would when visiting someone’s home, even if you don’t agree with some of the things you find during your visit.
I wouldn't dream of slipping into your Sacrament Meeting, and challenging every testimony is born, even if I was trying to be understanding. Imagine me asking questions phrased like, "Seriously, you guys...how can you believe that Joseph translated the Book of Mormon with a rock in a hat?" I might be sincere in my motive, but that's not how you behave in someone else's house. I could reasonably expect that if you were in my home for dinner, that our conversation pertaining to my beliefs would be respectful and inquisitive.
My experience with seeking understanding is that the vast majority of my time is best spent with my ears wide open and my mouth shut. There is no understanding of another's world view, if I am trying to shape that world view with my constant talking.

whyme said:
But at the same time, if the critics go into mocking mode, they will be banned or if they become to numerous and begin to take over the board, some will be culled, in my opinion.
The MAD board guidelines specify that
board members are to be treated with respect. None of their board guidelines confess a different standard for believers versus critics.
MAD:
Do post respectful comments. Name calling, ad-hominem, insults, flaming, badgering, revealing private information about posters, pornographic materials, vulgar content, illegal posts or any information or links to information that are perceived as harassing or illegal are forbidden.
Do not engage in jeering or mockery of the Latter-day Saints or participants on this board. We like strong debate. We expect disagreement and even some quarreling. But we do not expect anyone to quietly submit to continual abuse simply because the topic of this board is about their religion.
My comments:
whyme, again I ask you to provide evidence that MAD is upfront about their bias.
I also ask you why you have disregarded the board guidelines for postmormon in your statements that they're being hypocritical.
