Agreed. And the constant references to Bill Hamblin were not shameless plugs - apparently the original purpose of the video was per Bill's request so he could see the goings-on. Makes sense to me.
I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree with this. It would be one thing if Kerry simply said, "This video is for Bill! Say hello to Bill!" But that's not what he did. Instead, virtually every mention of Hamblin was accompanied with, "He's at Oxford right now." Or, "Did you know he's at Oxford?" Indeed, when you step back and think about this for a moment, it seems downright....
odd. Why, if this video was meant for Prof. Hamblin, would Prof. Hamblin himself need to be told repeatedly that he, Bill Hamblin, is at Oxford---a fact that would have been plainly obvious to him? Or, is B. Hamblin so utterly vain that he ordered K. Shirts to announce his Oxford location repeatedly, so that everyone would know how fancy he was?
I'm sorry, Skippy, but I don't think the endless name-dropping makes very much "sense" at all.
With that being said, short sleeve shirts with ties should be declared illegal immediately, with severe consequences to those who violate the ban.
I agree wholeheartedly with this. Although it did make the video(s) more entertaining, in a sense.
