Huh. I better remind DCP, even though I know he is out of town right now doing something very important and culturally significant, that not even Bill Hamblin is as important as President Obama. So challenging DCPs apologist friends here is not in fact at all like challenging Obama here.

And further, these two apologists ought to pay attention to this place. There may be no better venue for them to get feedback on their work. Their work is of no interest to the scholarly community. The apologists will just agree with them no matter what, in addition to not being qualified to review their work. There are hobbyists here willing to critique it, so, that's probably about is good as they could ever hope for.

It's relevantly similar in the sense that challenging President Obama here is silly, because he pays no attention to this wonderful place, just as challenging Bill Hamblin here is silly, since he pays no attention to the antics on this board. If you would prefer somebody else for an analogy, feel free to substitute, say, the governor of Indiana, the president of Baylor University, Mick Jagger, the chief nuclear officer of the U.S.S. Nebraska, the mayor of Bullittsville, Kentucky, the kindergarten teacher at Cherry Hill Elementary School, or any other of the billions of people who pay no attention to this board.

Once you've chosen your person, start a thread here challenging him or her to a debate, amidst predictions that he or she won't have the courage to accept your challenge.
