I think it is important to distinguish between my views and Don Bradley's.

I do not believe that the Book of Mormon is ancient in the sense that the events it describes occurred in antiquity.

Don Bradley does not share this view. His views on these questions are something that he will have to articulate when and where appropriate.

Don't ask me exactly what Don thinks about this issue, because I really couldn't say.

Thanks, I don't see that "trying to win the faculty of Abrac drawing Magic circles or sooth saying" has to be exclusively Masonic. But maybe I just don't know enough.

I'm sure you'll talk to George Miller via pm. I think he'll be able to enlarge on these ideas in at least a provocative manner, whether you find them agreeable or not (though, I expect you will?). I've found his arguments very persuasive, but this is really outside of my own personal Mormon history territory, so I won't poach on his game.
