I dream in Excel spreadsheets.

I cast my vote for Samna's Ami Pro. IBM bought the Lotus Suite, back when they were sucking up to Microsoft, so they could bury it and leave Microsoft with a monopoly.Bret Ripley wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 2:43 pmStranded on a desert isle lives an old soldier who fervently believes the war was won by Lotus 1-2-3.

Hello, Dr. Shades. The world is filled with people who believe debunked and discredited things. That's why the argument from popularity is considered a fallacy.Dr. Shades wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 5:06 pm??? I thought the whole QAnon thing had been 100% debunked and discredited.

It certainly has been debunked and discredited. My guess is that it could have been a hoax designed to make people on the right look foolish. If not, if the person(s) behind it actually believe in the nonsense, it certainly has made a lot of people look foolish.Dr. Shades wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 5:06 pm??? And, it functions as a nice label like "flat-earther" to kill discussions.
Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.

Yep. The conspiracy theories about the Dominion voting machines came from QAnon. LinkRes Ipsa wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 5:48 pmHello, Dr. Shades. It has been debunked, but a lot of people still believe it mainly because right-wing media was loudly proclaiming it after the Presidential election.

Trump and QAnon are still grabbing the Republican Party by the you know what and leading it around the ring.

Re: What is Going on on March 4th?
This suffers from a milder form of the same problem that QAnon conspiracy suffers from: unrealistic faith in the foresight and powers of conspirators.Dr. E wrote:It certainly has been debunked and discredited. My guess is that it could have been a hoax designed to make people on the right look foolish. If not, if the person(s) behind it actually believe in the nonsense, it certainly has made a lot of people look foolish.
You could no more have predicted that QAnon, out of the ocean of similar pretended insiders on 4chan, would rise to lead the masses than "Despacito" would become the #1 song on youtube, let alone explain how someone could have realistically planed and executed a conspiracy to assure that it would happen. And just to make the right look bad! of all things.
In fact, your theory here, Dr. E, is of a favorite variety among right-wing conspiracy nuts -- the "false flag operation". Anytime something goes wrong to make the right look bad they suspect a "false flag". Everything from school shootings perpetrated by the left, to make guns look bad, to the capitol riots, to make the right look bad. You're right at home, unfortunately.
Now if you can go back and study the history of QAnon and show some evidence as why you believe this is the case, then I'm listening. But that sounds like real work, doesn't it?
We can't take farmers and take all their people and send them back because they don't have maybe what they're supposed to have. They get rid of some of the people who have been there for 25 years and they work great and then you throw them out and they're replaced by criminals.
