Because it collided with reality. Reality won.

I once thought so, too. I was wrong.

Sometimes the requirements have to be lived for a bit I guess. "Witness comes after the trial of faith" or something like that.

Gaz wake up and smell the wang dang sweet poontang.

He is riding something other than her coattails. He is joining the silly church so he that he CAN ride her tail you idiot. Hell, ya never know, they may already have exchanged bodily fluids already, just not in the wrong spot on her...

Flirt to convert was the saying I heard my brother use while on his mission.

Runtu recalling the man's story of reading and meeting with the missionaries and it sounded good, sounds like he has his eye on the prize and that is parking his car in her garage.

All true religion is feeling.

The problem is that Mormonism requires you to sacrifice your conscience for feelings. It wasn't until I realized how much I had rationalized that I realized I could not be a Mormon any longer. When you have to go against what you know is wrong, you know you are in the wrong religion.

Oh isn't little Gizzy Gazzy a cutie patootie! giggle giggle

My hell Gaz! you sound like a friggin sunbeam up there regurgitating a rote testiphony for your mommy and daddy.

A self induced emotional epiphany or what you refer to as a witness of the spirit, is as far from reality as you can get.

Look at your next post, "All true religion is feeling. "

So which is it?

That sounds like "flirty fishing" that is done in the Children of God group. Well, almost, but not quite. In flirty fishing, they use intercourse as a means of proselytizing.

It really doesn't suprise me. I lived in the corridor during my late teens-early 20s and many of the faithful LDS girls are looking to snare a guy. If its a RM great. If they bring in a convert at least its new blood.

I don't know if this happens anymore out in Happy Valley(Utah county around BYU and UVSC), but when I was living there in the late 80s and early 90's girls would feel your thigh for the garment line.

NO LIE.

My roommate would put several layers of thin masking tape on the bottom of his bottom garmies to ensure detection. He said it was would make it easier to get some levi love from the Mormon girls.
