So, in the count of total members that they announce at General Conference, are these folks tallied in as part of that membership or not?

I thought it was the case that all people are counted until they reach 120 years from their birthdate, at which point they drop from the membership statistics.

I think that is only the case with less-actives. Deaths are recorded but those that the Church loses contact with drop off after a certain age (MIA, presumed dead).

I do not think they are counted in total membership. Just take the prior year membership number and subtract it from the newest one. Look at the difference. Then compare that to the total convert and child of record baptisms. That number is always higher.

Subtract the net difference from the converts and child of records and you see some shrinkage. How much is deaths vs. excommunication and removal requests I do not know.

When that net difference is less (far less) than average death rates, I'm not sure what the number actually means (and makes it less likely that the ex-coms are taken off the roles).

Never assume. I can think of several reasons why no one's confronting you about your absurdities, including not enough time, not enough bandwidth, too tired, don't care enough about you to correct you (my personal favorite... just ask Infymus), haven't seen what you claim, or even agree with you a little bit.

I think that what you see as an elitism, or lack of humility on my part is my fearlessness. Let me us an example from nature to explain. All the animals in the forest are fearful to some extent. What they most fear is fearlessness and that fearlessness can be a man walking through the woods.

When someone stands up amongst men less fearful than his fellows its intimidating. I cannot help but come of this way because I have gone through an extra creation that adds a measure of fearlessness that is lacking in anyone who has not been wrought upon and given a new heart, might, mind and strength. People take skepticism as a token of intelligence. I see it as fearfulness.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is suppose to make you a new species perse. You think in a newness of mind and heart that is like speaking a different language. You no longer share the same definitions because your eyes have been open to a wider view. Your understanding has an extra dimension that was not there before. I say things really very plain and often get back confusion from those that read what to me is about as simple as I can make it. Will the Lord soon send one with more commuication talent ? Its possible.

If we started out dog ugly and spent lots of time trying to improve our looks would it not make sense to go to a Creator to fix our faces rather than practise something like plastic surgery on ourself? You think people would clamour for the expertise of God in advancing their condition. Finding God is such a rarity that you cannot generate mass hysteria to move lots of people that way. It is easier for the viper to strike out in fear and the mole to hide and everyone turn and fight when they feel cornered.

I am showing a new face to the world and it will only be marred. Will anyone see the advancements proven from the expert hand of God? We are here only because God first added to us. It is therefore a very wise course to seek to be added upon more by God. One great test of life is to see who will long for the the Lord to continue his work and who will only do their own works.

Guess I could not remain dumb for an entire page. That's what I see. I might have failed to communicate. Its possible.
