People eat that??? OMFG!!! That sounds like a description of my dog's vomit.

No Miracle Whip (by the way, doesn'y that sound like a little heavenly S&M?)

Bond, this is an easy bachelor recipe:

Botton layer cooked hamburger
next layer frozen peas
then Cream of Mushroom Soup
Tater tots on top
Bake 350 degree oven till taters are browned
Cry Heaven and let loose the Penguins of Peace

Are you kidding.....I was taught to cook by the matriarchs of my family. They'd laugh at that recipe....as do I. Bleck!

StD, our ward potlucks (or no-lucks, as my daughter calls them) had row after row of disgusting casseroles just like the one Moksha described. No kidding. My family never went unless we ate dinner beforehand.

I dunno, man, I'm kind of into the freaky stuff.

I did notice the conspicuous absence of Velveeta, though.

Throw in some cheese-food product and I'm down, baby!

Hopefully, Moksha can enlighten me as to the proper layering technique for that addition.

Moksha's recipe didn't contain any mayo, CKSalmon, but I'm sure you could work some into melted Velveeta and add it right between the Cream of Mushroom soup and tater tots.

I don't have to have mayo with everything, KA. So what if I eat it solo by the tablespoon straight from the jar? It's not my fault it's so tastily inviting. The mayo was asking for it.

I'd suggest putting it between the hamburger and the peas, sort of like a creamy cement to bond them together.

You're purposefully tormenting me, CKS!

I can just see it: you messily eating mayo straight from the jar, a little white, greasy globule clinging tenuously to your beard... Eww! Eww! Eww!

I'm not sure I can speak to you anymore.

My mother eats Miracle Whip with a spoon from the jar.

And now I am going to be sick thinking once again of that image from my childhood...

(I can rarely stand mayo and then pretty much only homemade)
