Do you ever think Charity that some, who are labled as trolls, come with real questions and feel scared and angry and believe they have been lied to. They don't like to hear or read that Joseph Smith sent Orson Hyde on a mission and then "married" his wife.
And then those who take the sacrament each sunday and repeat amen to "always remember him" "and keep his commandments that he has give them"; that they might always have his spirit to be with them" jump on, taunt, laugh, mock those with real questions. Who are those who "run to the hills with their tails between their legs"? More likely they are put to sleep by banning them in the Nazi type environment ran by card carrying Mormons.
"charity never faileth" oh please - spare me.
Have you ever observed the trolls that occasionally show up in MA&D?
I will give you a dialogue that shows what I mean.
Troll: I am new here and don't know much about the Mormon church, so could you answer a simple question? Why do you think Joseph Smith was a prophet.
naïve LDS: Because he gave us God's word in many recorded revelations.
Troll: But I think maybe I heard somewhere that not all his prophecies came true. And isn't that what the Bible says means a person is a false prophet?
naïve LDS: I'm not aware of any prophecies that were not either fulfilled, or are still not ready to be fulfilled yet.
Troll: Then what about. . . . [and here comes a cut and paste list a yard long from an anti-Mormon site.]
Not so naïve LDS: You have a list of items of prophecies, conditional prophecie, and other people's uncorroborated stantements.
Troll: So you can't answer me, huh. This is what I get all the time from you lying, deceiving Mormons.
LDS with eyes wide open: TROLL ALERT!
