Martha's book was not a "piece of junk." It was witty and struck just the right tone. I found it an excellent read.

I can't stand to watch more than 3 minutes of it.
Who is this guy anyway?
His shows consist of some journalist interviewing him every night on political topics as if Mr. Beck is supposed to have an informed opinion worth listening to. Every aspect of his show is a knock off against Gore's movie. For instance, his book is called an "inconvenient book." His show is called an "inconvenient segment," etc.
He strikes me as a goober.
Someone told me he is LDS. Is this true?

Apparently you were wrong. But, hey, you're right most of the time!

Well, hey---it *was* just a guess. Even Satan has to be wrong once in a while, right? ; )

I think the entire show is nothing more than an infomercial to sell his book. A picture of it is at the bottom corner of the screen during the whole show.
What a goober.
I thought he was gay.
I agree with him on just about everything, but he is just annoying to watch. It is kinda like listening to Kerry Shirts.

Wow, it's like he just defined the blueprint for conversion in the short span of that first video. What do we see here?
- Dude is at a real low point in his life: no friends, no job, substance addicted
- Girlfriend is putting pressure on him to change (and become religious, no less!)
- Acquaintance calls him up to convert him; dude, caught in a vulnerable state, bites
- Goes to church; relies on the second hand "warm feeling" experience of his kid
- Get's baptized; coincidentally, the next day he gets a call that helps his career; dude conflates the two non-related occurrences (this is the key)
- Dude starts spending more time with his family; pulls his head out of his butt; attributes the inevitable positive changes to the church rather than simple changes in his own behavior (available to anyone with a modicum of common sense)
Result: another infantile sucker is born who thinks the church has helped him rather than, on his own, deciding to do the common sense stuff he should have done in the first place if he'd had a clue.
