I alrerady stated in a previous post in this thread that I can't find the source. It was a website which compared world religions on various matters. How many times do I need to say that?
One of the data points was that LDS adults have a higher percentage of fluency in a second langauge than others. No doubt due to missions although the reason was not given.
I won't retract it because I know I read it. It isn't just my opinion.

If you only count education in religion, you may be right. We do not require divinity school degreees in any of our leaders. But our leaders are very educated in reputable fields, much more so than mere divinity school degrees. For instance our Twelve apostles, currently have degrees in law, in medicine, in education. Thanks, road. I knew about that but it doesn't compare LDS to other religions. The article I saw did that. Grrrr. It makes me mad when I do that. I have to learn to add to favorites when I find something useful.
