What about Job's family?

Uh, God killed them on a dare. While the dare was made by Satan, God was the one who took it.

But Job 1 states 12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.
Looks like Satan did the work, but God gave permission.

On the other hand, verse 16 talks about the fire from God (lightning) killing Job's sheep.

by the way, B&L, the OP question is a good one. One might also ask how many genocides the Bible describes Satan ordering, relative to how many it describes God ordering. (I believe the correct answers are "zero" and "nineteen," respectively.)

You may be right about genocides, but I recall some murders being influenced such as that of Shadrach, and co. as well as Daniel in the lion's Den. Let us also not forget Pharoah vs the Israelites--that's pretty close to genocide although Satan isn't explicitly given credit for any of it (in fact, the Old Testament states that the Lord hardened Pharoah's heart . . . ).

Even if you credit the murder of Job's family to Satan, God is still way ahead in number of kills.
