If they need it? Why would they need it?

They would need it because they are having sex and don't want to get pregnant.
They could be afraid to talk to their parents, they could be poor. There could be a lot a of reasons they need birth control.

Teenagers aren't the best decision makers, and if you think you can just make them wait until they are responsible enough to have sex you must have forgotten what it's like to be a teenager. They are going to do it. Why not at least accommodate the ones that will be responsible enough to ask for birth control.

But I'll answer your question: I wave the religious flag in your face because the reasons you have given are not valid reasons. You say you don't want to pay for it, but it is less expensive to give kids birth control than to pay for their unwanted pregnancies. Which is why I asked you again for a better non-religious reason for why kids who need birth control should not get it. If you gave it, forgive me, I must have missed it in the midst of all my crude posting.
