I agree. He attempts a subtle form of brainwashing with every post.

Perhaps BC is merely disagreeing with what he had to say. I have always been a Runtu fan.

I agree with you that my blog is not that good, though I'm surprised you've bothered to read it. But I'm puzzled as to why you think my mission memoirs, which make up the bulk of the blog so far, are in any way "anti-Mormon," claptrap or otherwise. I have to admit that it bothers me quite a bit that you would say such a thing.

I'm surprised at BC's comments regarding this as well. I have to admit, I posted a snippy comment to him, and then deleted it. Although BC and I have disagreed on many issues, I've always respected him. We've always managed to "break bread" at the end of the day.
I would like to give him a chance to explain himself.
And, Runtu, your blog is VERY well-written. It's hardly "anti-Mormon". It's simply very honest, and some people, apparently, have a hard time with that.
Oh...and... welcome back! I've missed you! :)

Thanks. I have tried very hard to avoid writing the kind of blog bcspace describes. Maybe it's personal animus towards me, I don't know, but I really would like to know what's behind his comments.

I'm sorry this kind of thing gets to you, runtu. You've seen this kind of thing here before. It's one of the standard techniques for blocking serious discussion on this site. The there's nothing "behind" the comment except that.

You're probably right. Still kind of gets to me, though.

John, ignore the troglodyte. Who cares what he thinks? He wouldn't know good writing if it slapped him upside the head.
I think you're wonderful and that your writing is, too.
I lurve you.
