Not the usual things you buy at the book store -- some REAL sicko crap! It was because of his profession. Scared me to death. A few summers ago I spent the entire time reading the crime library on line. I'll tell you what -- who needs boogie woogie fiction when humanity creates it, at times. :/

Going to go check security system now...

They're scary, but fascinating. People are fascinated by bizarre behavior. It's natural.

Serial killers scare me. My dad has an entire crime library thingie (I've even met Dr. Henry Lee at some conference) and I read a bunch of them growing up. Not the usual things you buy at the book store -- some REAL sicko crap!

Sounds like your dad and my dad would get along great. He has volumes upon volumes of serial killer books, I would occasionally pick one out and read it out of boredom. Became a passion of his after one of my childhood friends was abducted then raped and murdered when I was about 8.

He grew up in the Puget Sound, Washington area (where we're living now) and swears he met Ted Bundy at one point. Don't know if I believe him, but it's creepy either way.

Ha. Touchs with weirdos always make for good stories. A history teacher of mine who studied in Europe once told me a tale where he was doing research in Sweden [or Norway? Scandinavia somewhere] and came across a paper [some sort of govt document or whatever] signed by Hitler. He said he actually shivered.

Sorry about your friend. That's horrible. I just don't understand how someone can hurt children. I can't fathom what is wrong with people when they do that.

I had an ex-boyfriend that met David Koresh and went into the compound attempting to get someone out (family had hired him) about a year before the showdown.

Hi Bond!

Lord Bath (the one with the wifelets who lives at Longleat - large ancestral home) has a collection of Hitler's art work. It isn't that good, pretty ordinary...you expect it to hold some clues as to what was to come in terms of his psyche, and it doesn't...wierd. It just indicates his 'ordinariness'.

LOL. Can you imagine Ted Bundy on a message board? Kind, polite, clean cut, but doesn't mention that he kills and eat people!

Given that Mormonism was one of several religions that Ted Bundy passed through and called his own at one point, he would quite possibly post on a board like this, too.

Oh crap. Ummmm.....I'm going to have to lay low for a while. Please draw no conclusions based on this behavior.

He looked terrible. He was thin, his pants falling off him. Really, he looked bad. But, he was the nicest guy. And I really enjoyed talking with him.

I hope he is doing well now.
WTF??

Wasn't he just recently RAPED?? Why would he still be there on the mission?

I know I will get flamed here for the following but here goes...

Perhaps he did get involved with the crazy bitch and ended up doing the nasty with her and felt soooo horrible about it, being a Mormon missionary and all, that he made up the story to cover it up?

He wouldn't be the first one to use that to get out of something...

And further, he was 6'4" for cripessakes! Even if he were handcuffed to the bed how could a little lady get him to do anything?
If all she did was strip him naked and rub her genitalia on his flaccid penis, does that constitute raping him?

And for Monkier, if it were such a horrific ordeal for him there is nothing anyone could do to cause an erection.

I just do not see how a tall strong man could have sex with a small woman, with a full erection, to the point that he ejaculates, and call that rape. Now an unwilling woman CAN be forced to engage in sexual intercourse, but c'mon folks if the guy is flaccid it will not go in.

Now if all she got was rubbing on his flaccid penis, I might call that sexual assault.

Ok FLAME ME.
