I'd say it's more likely that Kerry's chickens may have gone without food for a day to fund it.

He's being sarcastic and his target is Kerry's videos.
Gadianton wrote:Hmm. I don't think this is a very good objection. I wonder what you, by the way, thought of the "peer review" that your organization, FAIR, gave of "Mr. Meldrum's" well-meant apologetics? I think I have been far more generous here to an "enemy" than your blood-thirsty organization has been to it's own brothers and sisters in the gospel.
And why shouldn't Kerry, here, where the reputation of your organization and its "scholars" are at stake, be encouraged to do better?

Jersey Girl wrote:Uh, harmony? The video series that he's referring to is akin to a "home video" of a visit to the FAIR Conference, not a "documentary". That'd be the same thing as me labeling your post as a "novel" and criticizing it from that standpoint.
Gadianton wrote:I don't know the answer to that Mister Scratch, it remains a very real possibility though. I'd imagine, however, that if Dr. Hamblin did fund this film, he's furious right now and making phone calls as we speak to find out what the hell happened.
To be quite honest, I don't think Kerry realizes the opportunity he has here. Mormons want to see their heroes like this. It's an untapped market. And if Kerry were to work on his professionalism, he could probably make some serious cash off of this kind of work. A solid FAIR documentary might send those who control the purse strings to give him a call.
If Kerry were to play his cards right, he could very well become one of the most highly compensated figures of the apologetic front ever.
And I'm not even kidding.

And what exempts Kerry's work from critique?
I'm surprised you think that it is silly that Shirts might have a real profit opportunity here. I guarantee you that the right kind of film effort to show the apologists in action is a money maker. I'd wager that even in the poor condition the film is now, he could still make money off of it. I think the market here is real.
