You're staring at me again. Is that a twinkle I see in your eyes?
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

So, Life, how would you "categorize" me? Just curious, since I'm a Mormon, too. ;)

You seem like a very nice, thick-skinned person who isn't prone to take or give offense if it can be avoided. I get the impression you are a "cultural Mormon," who doesn't believe the Church is "true" as Mormons typically understand the phrase.
One moment in annihilation's waste,
one moment, of the well of life to taste-
The stars are setting and the caravan
starts for the dawn of nothing; Oh, make haste!

Big diff between you and Kerry is that you are not neck deep up Dan's ass.

Kerry is JAPSU(just another Peterson suck up)

True, and I never suggested otherwise.

But the tangibility of the plates means that they were real, which corroborates an important element of Joseph's story and removes it from the realm of purely subjective hallucination.
Corroborated by an outside unbiased, unrelated, third party?

Why did he not show the plates to Emma's father Isaac Hale? If they were as real as you seem to believe the witnesses claim, then would they not have been as real to Isaac to physically see and feel?

Or was he in the wrong frame of mind?

I suppose if Kerry were actually "neck deep up Dan's ass" it would have to be a step up from your position with your head up your own.

No?

Don't mince words, Jersey, and try to less politically correct. :)

Daniel Peterson wrote:No it doesn't.

And I know extremely well what the witnesses said.

There is no conflict.

Since you know extremely well what the witnesses said, please enlighten me with something they said that demonstrates that the golden plates were used or were even present during the translation.

Otherwise there IS a conflict.

Doesn't that strike you as deceitful. If not, why?
