And doing apologetics "purely for financial greed" would be rather different, in any case, from doing apologetics via a well-funded organization but for little or no money at all. The former would seem to be obviously reprehensible, but it isn't at all clear that the latter would be.

Well, my recommendation, and of course I understand the relative value of my recommendation, would be to organize your arguments against apologists' methods of denigrating critics and marginal Mormons into a coherent piece of writing. We could, after all, go the rounds with this forever, and still never connect any punches. As Dr. Peterson points out above, FAIR is not the NMI. But, you do make a fair point when you show that the tactic continues to be used.

That isn't what you guys are doing. As the tax forms demonstrated, you have millions and millions of dollars. For all you and FAIR know, Meldrum simply put whatever money he made back into his apologetics.
