If you are going to view Porn do so by renting a room at a Marriott Hotel. That way Bro Marriott gets the money and the Church gets the tithing. The more you rent(both room & adult videos) the richer both get.
A simple, elegant solution to the whole problem.(as long as Marriott doesn't turn the records over to the LDS Church)
What is the definition of addiction in the case of porn? I think the church has a much narrower perspective than what most people outside the church would agree with. Does this help or hinder efforts to overcome it or not?

I think that porn will go the way of teachings on birth control or oral sex. They won't repudiate the former teachings, they will just stop talking about and try to bury the old references. Like talking about the Heavenly Mother or damnation for suicides, the brethren will discourage even bringing up the topic.
But by this time, the Church will continue its slow decline into a backwoods church that is a haven for armchair survivalists and wheat collectors.
