You wouldn't think so if you read her writing.
Professionally, I have written 15 books in six languages, and have studied history all my life.
But she obviously didn't study
German history.
Having been a hardcore World War II afficionado since the age of sixteen, I believe I can speak with some authority on this matter:
I thought I would never be able to experience what the ordinary, moral German felt in the mid-1930s. In those times, the savior was a former smooth-talking rabble-rouser from the streets, . . . And he smiled and waved a lot.
FALSE. He seldom did either.
And then he was duly elected to office . . .
FALSE. He was
appointed to the chancellorship by the President.
Slowly but surely he seized the controls of government power, department by department, person by person, bureaucracy by bureaucracy.
Not necessarily. Following the Reichstag fire, he was given authority by that body (equivalent to our legislature) to implement decisions without their vote. So it was more a situation of seizing control all at once.
How did he get the people on his side? . . . He did it by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country, across Europe, and across the world.
FALSE. Never at any time did he insinuate that he'd re-instill pride anywhere except within Germany.
He did it with a compliant media - Did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and .... . . change.
Again, not necessarily. He did it in the name of advancing the interests of the German people.
Read your history books.
Good advice. Too bad she didn't follow it.
Some people scoff at me; others laugh or think I am foolish, naïve, or both. Perhaps I am.
"Ill-informed" is more like it.
First it was the Jews.
FALSE. First it was the incurably mentally ill.
If the rest of her "facts" are as accurate as her history, then we can safely toss her lunatic musings where they rightfully belong: The trashbin.
My son has been deployed. A few here know my fear, because it is their fear too. I cry myself to sleep every night, and mark off another day with each dawn. 392 to go. There is no let up from this stress.
Your son's deployment has nothing to do with this lady's rant against Obama.
To be quite honest, I don't care which church is right, I don't care who has authority... sometimes I'm just scared spitless.
You don't care which church is right?

Perhaps you didn't intend it this way, but I am LOL at that!
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"
