By any reasonable standard Joseph Smith was
a Child Molestor.
Fanny Alger, and 'adopted daughter' caught in bed with Joseph while under 16 years old. Who screws their 'adopted daughter'?
The others who were under age were mainly young girls well known to Joseph. He watched many grow from young girls into teenagers and then made his move after building trust with them and their parents before doing so.
He married some and took their financial inheritance as well as their virginity.
Today he would be in Prison and should have been in the 1800's as well.
If you had lived then would you have let him have your 14-17 year old daughter?

Your question was actually asked on MAD a while ago, and it surprised me how many actually said that they wouldgive Joseph their daughters.
My answer would be a resounding HELL NO!

In FAIRness, Fanny was his housemaid, not his adopted daughter.
You're probably thinking of the Lawrence sisters, who were his foster (not adopted) daughters.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

That is what separates you and I from them, Liz. We say "hell, no!" a lot. They bow their heads and say "yes".
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

I thought I remembered reading that Emma actually referred to Fanny as an adopted daughter of sorts. She wasn't adopted in the legal sense, but was basically considered part of the family.

I don't know; could be.

The 'adopted daughter' was from my reading it in a few accounts over the years.
Joseph picking the young ones by having them serve in his own home is sick. He was to care for them and privide a home, not choose young sexual conquests no matter what twist he put on it.

I guess this is the same tired old information they refer to at MAD. Nothing new since the DNA thing.
It's a disappointment that the statute of limitations on moral decency runs it's course amonst those that profess the belief in a God that delights in the chastity of women.

Amazing that this question even has to be asked of any man (including a professed prophet of a loving God)
I am continually astonished at those that would be willing to sacrifice the souls or their daughters to the God of Joseph Smith.
To me, this represents the largest crack in the feet of clay and iron called Mormonism.
