Since it's time to begin my midlife crisis, I'm wondering what form it should take. I'm far too poor to afford the Camaro or the Porsche, so clearly the sports car is out. Does anyone have any non-automotive suggestions for how my midlife crisis should be conducted?

Through the magic of e-bay and DVD compilations you can buy back your youth one small purchase at a time. I love my "Challenge of the Superfrinds" DVD.

Much happiness on your birthday Shades. Just be sure to keep a fire extinguisher handy in case that cake gets out of control : )

Buy anything except a pre-paid funeral.
I think it would be morally right to lie about your religion to edit the article favorably.

Hey Shades,

I am now weighed down with great trepidation over the sad fact that I'm now middle-aged. Ugh.

I thought middle age began at sixty...

Since it's time to begin my midlife crisis,

I'm thinking you just don't need to play that game... it is optional!

I'm wondering what form it should take.

Again, why even bother with a crisis. It takes way too much energy and is much too negative.

I'm far too poor to afford the Camaro or the Porsche, so clearly the sports car is out. Does anyone have any non-automotive suggestions for how my midlife crisis should be conducted?

Enjoy the moment, appreciate EVERYTHING good, treasure lovely relationships, make your corner of the world a little better, and live your life as you want to be remembered.
